Julia Goerges makes Båstad debut
Germans number three ranked player at WTA 15, Julia Goerges, has confirmed that she will try to win her third WTA title on clay in Båstad in July.
German ladies tennis is blooming again with five players among the top 40. Julia Goerges had a great run last spring including the WTA title in Stuttgart. 2011 also included two wins over world number one Caroline Wozniacki.
This year she has played one final so far, in Dubai. Goerges played the Swedish WTA event when it was held in Stockholm and her semi final run in 2007 was her first visit in a WTA semi final. With her strong serve and forehand she hopes to make moore good Swedish memories this summer.
